Thanks for posting this Elder B. I surely missed the live service due to schedule conflict here, but wanted so much to hear it. I will be listening, I’ve already heard so much good about the service! May God keep you all as the days of emptiness this loss has brought carry on. Love you Bro.

Such an honorable lady! Working in the funeral home business I have never known of anyone recording a personalized greeting to be played for the congregation at their Homegoing Celebration. I absolutely loved the idea, that I shared it with the national funeral director’s association and other morticians across the country! What a legacy this precious saint of God leaves behind! Lastly, the story that the daughter shared about the last few moments of Sis. Ballestero’s life here on earth . . . WOW! You could feel the power of the Holy Ghost alllllllllllllll over while she told what happened. What a way to go! Thank God for a true Apostolic lady!!!!!

I never got the opportunity to meet Sis Ballestero but after attending her Going Home service last night I feel as though I knew her well! My wife described it perfectly when she said “That funeral service was such a life changing experience!” It truly was and it was such a Holy Ghost filled event. Thank you Elder Ballestero for such great evening of sharing your mothers life with us all!!!

What a blessing to listen on HG radio and actually be a part of this wonderful tribute to the one of the finest of all Women. Your parents have impacted thousands with the most amazing ministry and love that just flowed from them. It was their life and they shared the love of God to everyone. I feek so richly blessed to have known these wonderful people, your SWEET mother and I were email buddies before she was sick, and she prayed with me over my requests for my family, I will miss her too! They definitely raised the standard high for us to follow. What a reunion in heaven that must be already happening now, and then when we all get there, what a day that will be!,,,,,..praying for your strength and comfort …….

All I can say is what a wonderfu, l wonderful mother! I wish I could have know her personally. I remember hearing the elder Bro and Sis Ballestero singing “Acres of Diamond” and you father preaching over 30 years ago at Rev Robert Daughtery’s church in Cenral City, Kentucky. I knew that day I was priviledge to hear one of the greatest minister ever in my lifetime. My husband and I were up early this morning listening to the memorial service of Sis Ballestero and I believe this is the first time that I can say that I have been so inspired and encouraged because of a funeral sevice. We love and pray for all the Ballestero family and we’re looking forward to that great reunion of the family of God!

What a awesome Homecoming Service. The message from your mom to the church moved me. Never heard anything like it. I know my desire to live for and be saved was intensified in that service. Your Father started the church I attened for almost 30 years and the move to Inland Lighthouse Church being able to be with your Mom for the last three years will be forever bonded in my heart. She told me it was God’s will and I have been there ever since. She always smiled gave a hug and said my you are handsome. I and my kids loved your mom and can’t wait to see her in heaven.

I was so happy to be able to hear the Homecoming Service on the computer today. Both your parents were so very special – such a gentleman and a lady besides being such great Apostolics! So many memories came flooding back as I listened. I LOVED to hear her testify and to see the Love of God shining in her face. Oh, to have the wisdom and charisma that she had as a lady, mother, and a grandmother. Some of the stories of the brought back memories of my own mother who had died in the faith at age 94. It was a privilege to be with her and see her desire to go on over, sometimes talking about what she was seeing there. I too have a rich heritage in the Apostolic way. The service I heard inspired me in many ways to step up and to love God the way she did.

Sister Debra,
It gives my wife and I great joy to hear a voice from our OKC days! We are so happy that you are still going to church! We pray God’s greatest blessings on you and yours.
Carlene has lived alone in South Bend, IN for 30 plus years. Her son lives in Tennessee.
Anthony is pastor in Clearwater, FL.
Bryan pastors in Raleigh, NC.
We have three more children besides. Martyn II, is pastor of a Spanish Speaking Church in Clearwater, My daughter Marisa married a pastor and they live in North Carolina. My youngest son Andy, is involved in church but is not a pastor. He lives in Clearwater as well.
We have no more dogs, and we are sure done selling peanut brittle. lol.
You were a gift of God to us. We will always appreciate your willing help. We couldn’t have made it without you.
Blessings!

I am thankful to have played a small part at the service, I was at the church when all the flowers started showing up. I directed all the deliveries into the sanctuary and arranged them all at the platform and around the precious sister-all I did was show up to pray and ended up being used of The Lord for such an occasion.
Years ago I read the book How High My Mountain but never thought how are paths would mingle and cross, we are the body of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am so touched and inspired in listening about a precious relative that I may or may not have seen. And never knew. I am thrilled by the Spiritual birth right and covenant God has granted to our family!! My Grandfather was Andrew Clark Baker. My Dad and Mom always spoke to us very lovingly about Carl and Conniie Ballestero. It saddens me that me and my siblings missed so many opportunities to know and/or at least meet you all. May God continue to use you all with the Power and GLory his Spirit and Truth!!!
I know there is quite a reunion in heaven…
I am 67 now and have recently met my Brown cousins and Gleason cousins and pray I will meet my Ballestero cousins.
God bless
