Content Ballestero – “Mama Moments”
My mother, Content Faith Ballestero is 87. It’s important to remind ourselves that Mothers don’t last forever. Each moment is to be treasured.
Thanks to “B.Artistic Photography” I will forever have more moments to cherish.

Just discovered this web site! Love seeing Sis Ballestero. My husband, James Young, rebuilt their old Mercedes many years ago in Las Vegas. We heard both Bro Carl and Bro Martyn preach many times in Bro Mefford’s church in LV. Great memories of the family.
Favorite time Bro Martyn preached about “Shake it Off” and had a rubber snake in his pocket. When he pulled that out, like Paul, to shake it off, Sis Ballestero cried out “JESUS!” Bro Martyn said, “Oh, Mother!”

I started reading one of your blogs, and then saw the “Mama Moments”. I heard your dear mother speak in TX one year. She told about a routine that she had each morning – whatever song came to her mind that she would sing it as she began her prayer time. Many mornings I awake and I think of her whenever a song comes to my mind… and often I sing them as I pray, too. Your mother touched my life in such a special way that year. I am so glad to know that she is still with all of you..and us! Sis. Charlotte Mills, MS

Br Ballestero I have been a fan of your articles since; INTERCESSOR PRAYER WE DON’T NEED YOU ANYMORE.
I certainly am now! This is priceless. Only thing I would have love to also seen a shot of ‘Mama’s hands’ as she hit a few of those notes and made those runs. What a legacy you have! God bless our Christian, Apostolic mother’s!

What a precious lady. I feel so blessed to have known her. My mother has told me several times how Sis. Ballestero was the first person to get to the hospital when I was born. More importantly she instilled in me through those songs that nothing was more important than making it through those pearly gates.
