Sister Connie Ballestero’s Testimonies
Sister Connie Ballestero’s Testimonies
In her eighties, nearly ten years before my she went home to be with the Lord, Bro. Steve Pixler invited my mother, Content Gleason Ballestero to come and join me in my revival in Ft. Worth, Texas. Every night before I preached, he would ask her to testify. She stood in the audience with a microphone, and exalted the Lord. Her love for the Savior showed through in her every word and expression. Whether in a home missions setting or a big church, she praised the Lord with all her heart.
Enjoy!

Momma testifies better (even at 84) than a lot of preachers preach!!! Love, love her voice, raised to the “darling of her heart”, telling stories of faith! What an amazing woman!

Seems your mother was an extremely lovely and joyous person. I listened to every one of these testimonies and wished there were more. They lifted me to a place I haven’t been in a long time. Thank you so much for sharing. What a blessing to have such a mother. I’d love to be in the presence of someone such as her as often as possible.

I remember when that picture was taken at Landmark. I believe they sang Acres of Diamonds afterwards. What a blessing your dear parents have been to so many through the years! Can’t wait to see them again one of these days.

Bro. Ballestero, thank you and your sister for sharing all of this! This website has been a blessing to me and my family. My daughters ages 9 and 5, love to hear your mother testify, I let them hear a couple the other day and now every time they get in the truck, they ask “can we listen to Sister Ballestero?”
The depth of your parents walk with God is so rich and encouraging and even challenging. She and your father and you as well, are rare jewels that don’t come everyday. Thank you again for sharing your life and heritage with the rest of us!
