Mom’s Memorial Presentation

with 10 comments

Today is our Mother’s (Content Ballestero) viewing. On behalf of our family I thank each of you for the sweet words of affection and love you expressed for our Mother. Your prayers for all of us at this time have been deeply appreciated. Thank You!

For the benefit of family and friends unable to come, I am posting here the PowerPoint with 338 of her pictures that will be shown tonight.

The original Presentation was 1.12 GB.  This website limits my upload size, so I had to reduced the resolution of the Mp4 file to post it here. The Original PowerPoint with full resolution is also included here. You may download either, or watch on-line

Thank You For Your Love And Prayers

  3. Dear Bro. Ballestero and family,
I’m sitting here with tears running down my face. Oh the precious memories that have just flooded my heart! I wish I had the words to tell you what Sis. Ballestero meant to me. She was a shining beacon of what a wife, a mother, a lady, a saint should be. Many times since I have become a wife and mother I have looked to her example. When I received word the other day that Sis. Ballestero had “slipped the bonds of earth and touched the face of God” I could not stop the tears. Not for her, since I know she is in the presence of God and wouldn’t want to come back, but for you and for myself and for all those who will miss her. I had hoped many, many times to see her once more but God knows best. However, I want you all to know that she meant so much to me. I loved her and will miss her. I hope you know I love you all as well. You have been constantly on my heart and in my prayers. I wish I could be with you but since I can’t I want you to know my heart is with you. Thank you for sharing all those wonderful memories. I smiled, laughed, wept. Once again, I love you all!

  4. Bro. Ballestero, I have just looked at some of the pictures you have posted here in your blog. I must say that your mother is one of the most beautiful ladies I have ever seen. I did not know her or you, but you can see the love she has for Jesus. Thank you for posting them.

  6. As I watched the slideshow, I noticed how many of those pictures involved a pulpit. Your Daddy and Momma’s lives revolved around that holy desk! Times like these make you remember why pictures are SO important. Thanks for sharing this with us Bro. Ballestero and know that you are in our prayers as you say goodbye to your mother. We love you

  8. What a sweet sweet Woman of God . My heart goes out to ya’ll . We lived side by side while our Fathers went out to preach . I remember so very well and her children . We did not think we were poor ….guess someone forgot to tell us , however we were rich in love ! Many times I have been told , our Mothers shared what food there was ……we never went hungry . Our Mother left for heaven this past 12-5-11 so I truly feel your loss . She will never be forgotten , what wonderful memories we all have ! The stories I could tell as we lived behind Bishop FR. Martin’s church . I pray our sweet Lord will comfort you and I know he will . We love you all .
