Thinking today as I drive home about an old chorus I have of Bishop G.E. Patterson “Singing The Old-Time Way”. One of my favorites of his two album series of choruses is, “I’m Going To Live So God Can Use Me.”

I’m going to live so God can use me, anywhere Lord any time.

I’m going to live so God can use me, anywhere Lord any time.

I’m going to walk so God can use me anywhere, Lord, any time

I’m going to walk so God can use me anywhere, Lord, any time.

I’m going to talk so God can use me anywhere, Lord, any time.

I’m going to talk so God can use me anywhere, Lord, any time.

  2. I saw him on youtube.com the other day and was playing that song after I found it on aol.com radio. I love his singing and style and that song really attracted me. He had a great testimony about how he got the holy ghost. I don’t know if he was oneness or not, I think he is deceased now. He sure got messed up on his thinking and fighting people who believed holiness standards in the end for sure because parts of his preaching was on youtube.com in many places. However, I wasn’t surprised at that.

  3. Awesome, awesome music Bro. Ballestero! I introduced my husband to Bishop Patterson after we married and he really enjoys all his music. My 3 yr old and 19 mth old do also. That’s the kind of music that I’d prefer my children be influenced by. Putting a desire in their young hearts to please God. I think it’s time to go pop in the CDs. 🙂
