Are Apostolics Happy Their Pastors Ignore Some New Testament Scriptures?

Apostolics by nature should be firm believers in “coming out from among them” and being separated from the world, and unto Christ. Yet, Christian approved sins may number more than we might first think. There is also a crowd that would ignore Biblical cautions and warnings because in their mind, that was only a guideline, not an actual sin.

It is our understanding that Holiness in both inward and outward. I find it safe to also say that what is on the inside will soon show on the outside.

We sometimes hear the subject of modesty talked about behind the pulpit. We also have many new choruses about God being a holy God. Yet, if we made a list of things we are comfortable not hearing about, it just might include a few of these New Testament Scriptures. There just too many to post here.

Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

  2. I would love to hear this one preached. So much is left unsaid now. It’s good to be reminded. To stir up our pure minds by way of remembrance. His word will stand.

  3. OMW this is something that needs to be said over and over again in all congregations. You are right, on the whole, many Christians pick and choose the scriptures. When the word “holiness” is spoken, most people think that it is just outward appearance. Thank you for writing to remind us. I thank God for you!
